So I was just walking to the living room when the frame of my glasses spontaneously snapped in two and the left lens of my glasses popped out and hit me in the eye. What the crap. Called Mom, it's probably going to be nearly a month before I can get a new pair. I've got an older pair of glasses but they're too small and the prescription gives me a headache, so it looks like it's contacts 24/7 for a while.

Not too worried, and it's actually kind of convenient in a way, because I needed to get a new set of glasses before I graduate and go off the family insurance anyway.

I know how that is. I had major problems with breaking glasses when I was a kid...I always sat on them and other crazy shit. I prefer contacts...it's just easier for some reason. I switch back to glasses every now and again...I'm weird.

yeah, same here - when I was little I had to get flexon frames cause I had such a bad history of breaking mine. This last pair was just old, I guess, I've used them the last three times I've gotten new lenses, so they date back to high school.
